I was so curious what it is like to develop a film myself. I have to say it’s really fun. It didn’t turn out perfect. I think I need to be more careful with the drying. But for the first try I am satisfied.

I think I am just about to fall in love with analogue photography. I had said in another article that you can certainly simulate the look in Lightroom. I changed my mind. Especially the Skintones are fantastic.

I digitized them with my Ricoh GR III. Sounds crazy. I tried it before with the Fuji X-Pro 1 and MFT cameras. But the Ricoh delivers by far the sharpest pictures. Even though I can’t get that close because of the missing Marco lens. Trimmed the pictures are still 7 megapixels big and are still worlds better than the 16MP coming from the Fuji etc.
